I love their boneless wings, ribs, and heated patio.
2. Corner Stone Tavern
I recently visited Corner Stone Tavern in Lemont, IL and was impressed by its cozy atmosphere and elevated comfort food. This pub serves craft cocktails, good beer, and boozy milkshakes, making it a great spot for a night out with friends or a casual date.
One thing that stood out to me was the variety of options on the menu. From pot roast sandwiches to fried cauliflower, everything is well-prepared and flavorful, and the portions are generous.

Living pretty close to Illinois Bar & Grill, it’s a spot I frequent. While I’m usually there for their jumbo chicken wings (well done for me!), they’ve got a great bar and a laid-back atmosphere.
They’re also known for their signature “big burger”, which is a Chicagoland legend. So if you like burgers, that should be on your order.
4. Nick’s Tavern
Established in 1945, Nick’s Tavern is a classic Lemont bar. When I first moved to Lemont, that was one of the first places my barber told me to try. He raved about their Nick Burger… “they’re the best in town, by far.”
It is a one-pound burger that is cooked to perfection and served with all the classic toppings. The Nick Burger is so big that it can easily feed two people, so make sure to bring a friend or two!
Their pizza is also a local favorite, made with fresh ingredients and cooked in a brick oven.

As I explore the bars in Lemont, Illinois, I can’t help but mention Canal Street Pub. This small pub in the historic downtown area is a great spot for anyone looking for a laid-back atmosphere and a cold beer.
I’ve been to Canal Street Pub a few times, and I always enjoy the classic rock music playing in the background. The pub has a toasty ambiance that’s perfect for a cold night out. The drink service is fast, and the bartenders are friendly.
7. Joe & Josie’s Lounge & Banquet
I recently visited Joe & Josie’s Lounge for the first time and was impressed with the overall atmosphere of the place. The bar has a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to relax and unwind after a long day.
The service at Joe & Josie’s was prompt and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. They were also attentive without being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our drinks and food without feeling rushed.

Peterson’s Main Inn is another legend of Lemont. And you can tell when you first walk in from the classic decor that harkens back to the establishment’s long history.
The bar is known for its pool tables, which are always in use, World Pool Championships, and reasonably priced beer. Not many places left like it.
Peterson’s is a great spot to hang out with friends, shoot some pool, and enjoy a beer.
9. Tom’s Place
A classic Lemont dive bar, Tom’s Place is now in its 3rd generation of family ownership – pretty impressive.
One of the standout items on the menu at Tom’s Place is their burgers. They are cooked to perfection and come with a variety of toppings to choose from, including bacon, cheese, and mushrooms. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, making them a must-try.

The bar has many beers on tap and more hi-def TVs than I could count, making it an ideal spot to catch a game with friends.
12. Hughie McClafferty’s
Hughie McClafferty’s is Lemonts Irish pub in the heart of downtown.
The atmosphere at Hughie McClafferty’s is fun and lively. The decor is traditional Irish with a modern twist. The bar has a good selection of beers, including Irish beers like Guinness and Smithwick’s. They also have a variety of cocktails and spirits.
They serve traditional Irish dishes like corned beef sandwiches and shepherd’s pie. The food is always fresh and delicious.
Hughie’s is a great place to grab a drink and some food whether you are looking for a casual night out or a place to watch the game.

I recently visited Pollyanna Social for the first time after their grand opening. They offer an upscale cocktail menu with incredible and constantly changing drinks. I had a gin cocktail that was so fresh.
The bar’s atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with vintage decor and dim lighting that created a relaxed ambiance. If you’re looking for a great datenight spot or a place to chill with friends, this is the spot.
14. Bottles Lemont
Bottles Lemont is a popular bar located downtown. As a wine enthusiast, I was pleased to find that Bottles Lemont offers a great selection of wine. They also have a wide variety of craft beers and cocktails for those who prefer something other than wine.
The atmosphere at Bottles Lemont is cozy and welcoming, with a charming patio area where you can enjoy your drinks in the fresh air. They also have a private party room available for rent, which could be a great option for hosting events or gatherings.
